Daniel Bottcher is a mixed media painter based in Brooklyn, NY, but he grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. He is focused on abstraction with expressive use of colors and textures. His love for painting influenced him to become a future educator. He believes that if you love what you make, why not teach it? He’s currently pursuing a dual degree of bachelor’s in fine arts (emphasis in painting) and a master's in art & design education at Pratt Institute and expects to graduate in 2026. Daniel is interested in exploring the educational world while continuing his practice as an artist.
